We know this is a time when you need reassurance. Using the latest 4D ultrasound technology, our friendly, caring, RDMS medical sonographers will perform a limited diagnostic scan that will allow you to see how your baby and the placenta is positioned, measure fluid level, see the heartbeat, and watch him/her move. You can even see your baby's facial expressions and count his/her fingers and toes for the first time. Invite those closest to you to participate in this prenatal bonding experience in the comfort of our spa setting. Take home pictures, a DVD, and even a CD-ROM with images of your complete session. Our newest feature let's you share your baby's first pictures easily on Facebook.

And... feel free to bring a friend or the expecting Dad with you for a shared experience.
For Your Changing Product Needs...Our products are specially selected with your unique needs in mind. Morning sickness products, skin care products, nutritional products, breast pumps, books, videos and more are available for sale. We have recently added a maternity boutique with styles that will flatter you during the bump... and beyond.

Owner & New Spa Start Up Consultant
Becoming Mom was Dawn's Vision. At the heart of Becoming Mom is the Imaging Center... where we don't just create that first baby picture. By investing in state-of-the-art technology that can give Mom and Dad a high definition picture of their baby before he or she was born, Dawn's hope was that Becoming Mom would allow them to bond with their baby and become more invested in a healthy pregnancy.
Beyond the imaging, Dawn selected services and products that would educate, pamper and relax Mom..... helping her to adjust to her ever changing needs in a nurturing, pregnancy-safe Spa Environment.With the recent addition of Becoming Mom Boutique, Dawn wanted to make buying maternity clothes more practical... and because of that we choose fashions that don't just adjust beautifully to mom's expanding tummy, but ones that look great even when she's back to her pre-pregnancy shape.
Dawn received her education at Cornell University before coming to Cincinnati and spending 19 years at Procter & Gamble. She is of course a mom herself with 2 children.
Dr. Bruce Banias
Affiliated OB-GYN and PerinatologistDr. Banias's credentials include receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the Citadel, a Masters of Science in Human Physiology at the University of Southern California, and Medical Doctorate at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Banias did his residency at Wright State University and his Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. He is a Board Certified OB-GYN and a Fellowship Trained Perinatologist. Dr. Banias' practice, Genesis OB/GYN, is located in Kettering, OH. Dr. Banias and his friendly, knowledgeable staff treat each patient with kindness and compassion. The loving, cheerful atmosphere makes walking into the office a memorable, welcoming experience.

Tara, Rebecca, Asya and KimmOur sonographers all have Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Credentials and have years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography specializing in OB Ultrasound.
Pre-Natal Certified Massage Therapists

All of Becoming Mom's Massage Therapists are Pre-Natal and Postpartum Certified, which means they not only have their Massage License from the Ohio State Medical Board, but also went through extensive training in Pregnancy Massage. Other Spas may say their therapists are "trained", but you should be sure to ask if that training extended beyond the brief amount of training they might have received during their overall Massage School Curriculum.
